What is your job at MAH?

I am a vet assistant! I help hold and restrain animals while they receive their care, scribe for the doctors during appointments, help keep the hospital clean, and most importantly treat your animals with love and care to make their visits a good experience!

Why do you love MAH?

I love my team! No matter what the day throws at us, everyone works hard together and is supportive of each other. I love their willingness to teach me something new and the care that they put into everything they do at MAH.

What’s a fun fact about you?

I have two border collie mixes, named Daisy and Ginny! Both of my girls are reactive, meaning they get overly stimulated in unfamiliar environments causing them to bark and growl at people and animals. It has been a huge learning experience when it comes to training them. I’ve learned to read a dog’s body language and determine the best and safest way to handle our patients who are nervous at the vet. Nothing makes me happier than to get a tail wag from a dog who was nervous about being here!
