Dr. D.P. Krumanaker

Dr. Krumanaker is a graduate of Princeton University and The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. In addition to dogs and cats, she treats birds, reptiles and small mammals.

Dr. K is MAH’s 4th independent owner and hospital director. She imagined becoming a veterinarian when she was just 5 years old. She worked for several small animal clinics before pursuing her dream and earning her medical degree. Dr. K loves handling animals of all shapes and sizes and finds particular satisfaction in helping maintain the bond between people and their pets. Dr. K and her husband have two children, two guinea pigs, a black lab named Molly, and a golden retriever named Louie. She enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, rock climbing, and gardening. An avid singer, she is a member of the Young Professionals Choral Collective. She works to ensure that MAH maintains its prestigious AAHA accreditation, which it has earned continuously since 1950.

Dr. Curtis

Dr. Curtis is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine.

As a child, Dr. Curtis used to dream of being Steve Irwin. As an adult, she landed on the next best thing: being a veterinarian! She graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.S. in Zoology in 2017, and then again with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. Her special interests include dentistry, nutrition, and behavior in dogs and cats. She is also Fear Free certified and USDA accredited. At home, Dr. Curtis and her partner have a dog named Rosie and a cat named Gracie. When not at work, she enjoys spending her time hiking, traveling, exercising, drawing, and reading.

Connor Crance, BTAS, RVT, CVBL

Connor is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati.

Connor is our Practice Manager and a Registered Veterinary Technician with over five years of experience at our hospital. She helps keep our operations running smoothly, from supporting our medical team and ensuring top-quality care to making sure clients and pets have a positive, seamless experience from start to finish. Connor holds a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Leadership, is a Certified Veterinary Business Leader, and completed rigorous schooling to become a licensed RVT. With a strong foundation in both veterinary medicine and business management, she has pursued extensive training to stay up to date on the latest in veterinary practice operations. She’s also planning to continue her education at the postgraduate level- because who needs sleep when you’re on a mission to keep learning? She has a soft spot for little dogs (even when the feeling isn’t mutual) and shares her home with two pups: Sushi the Pomeranian and Tuff the Maltese. They rule the house alongside four feline bandmates: Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Samson, and Sabrina.
